Bloglovin

Veel bloggers zijn al overgestapt op bloglovin. Ik las al veel blogs via deze manier. Maar nu blijkt dat het helpt wanneer je, je eigen blog nog even "claimt" als zijnde jou blog.

Dus vandaar even een kort berichtje met een geknipte en geplakte code.

Enig nadeel bij Bloglovin, is dat ik niet altijd bij iedereen direct een berichtje kan achterlaten. Ik hoop dat dit snel verholpen is. Want een reactie vinden we allemaal leuk!

Nu maar weer lekker verder prutsen met mijn werkjes, al is dat wel even een uitdaging geworden, omdat ik mijn nagels heb laten doen. Was het zo zat om met brekende en splijtende nagels te zitten. Splijt liever mijn DMC garen!.. LOL

Wil je nog een leuke tentoonstelling bezoeken wat over "Lapjes" gaat, dan is "Stof tot nadenken", wel een hele leuke! In het museum van Spakenburg is deze tot oktober te bezoeken. Op de poster staat tot 1 juni, maar het is verlengt.

A lot of bloggers started reading the blogs with bloglovin. Me too for a while now. But you need to claim your own blog with bloglovin. So that's why I write this post. You have to paste a code into a post.

The one thing I don't like about Bloglovin is that on some blogs I can't leave a comment. I hope they will fix that soon. Because we all love our comments don't we?

That's all for now, I will go back working on my projects. Although I have a challenge now, I got my nails done, because I was sick and tired about breaking and splitting them. I rather split DMC threads then my nails!... LOL

In my town there is a historic museum, and if you watch the you-tube, you can see how women dressed themselfs for a long time. There are still a few lady's that wear those clothes.

Lapjes (Fabrics)

Ik ga graag naar de lapjes markt in Utrecht! O love my visits to the fabric market in Utrecht!

Kom er eigenlijk al vanaf klein meisje. Mijn Oma en mijn Moeder zaten vaak achter de naaimachine.(Mam nog steeds trouwens!) En waar kan je dan beter terecht dan op de lapjes markt?.. Wist je dat deze markt al meer dan 400 jaar bestaat?

My visits started on a early age when I went with my mother and grandmother. They both loved to sew. (Mom,still do by the way!) The market is more then 400 years old, and in those 400 years on Saturday lots of people can find what they need for a nickle and a dime...

Het was heerlijk zonnig gisteren, en het was weer ouderwets genieten! On a Sunny Saturday I had a great time!

En dit is mijn buit... Heb alweer veel te veel ideeën, en al mijn UFO's, WIP's en MoetenAf's begonnen al te mopperen in de kast... ^_^ Look what I brought home with me... Lots of new ideas to work with, but all the UFO's, WIP's and NeedtoFinishes started to complain... ^_^

Na de boswandeling straks, maar eerst braaf verder werken aan de projecten die af moeten, en ondertussen verder broeden op mijn nieuwe aankopen. Fijne zondag, en week! After my walk in the woods, I will work on the "has to be finished in time" projects. But thinking of all the new stash, and what I can do with that. Hope you have a great Sunday and week!

Here comes the sun....

Heerlijk genieten van de zon! Loving the sun!

En alles in de natuur doet mee...Mother nature and all the animals love it too...

Buiten in de zon een beetje spelen met hexagonnen van een ander soort katoen. (Oeps.. Toch aan een nieuw project gestart) playing in the sunshine with hexagons made with a different kind of cotton. (Tisk, tisk... I started a new project)

Het patroon is lekker makkelijk en superleuk om te doen. Gevonden bij Karin aan de haak, een hele leuke blog met teveel leuke patronen en ideetjes.( ik hoop dat het linkje werkt) The pattern can be found at the blog of Karin. Lots of great ideas and patterns (hope the link works)

Maar ik werk ook echt wel door aan mijn andere projecten!.. (Christmas in July, en de Potholder quilt zijn bijna af lopen mooi op schema.....) But I really work on my other projects too, you know!.. (Christmas in July and the potholder quilt are almost done coming along fine...)

Geniet van de zon, en laat de creativiteit maar bloeien deze week! Enjoy the sun, and let's be creative this week!

Zonnig! (Sunny!)

 

Het is echt lente! En wat is het dan heerlijk rondrommelen in en om het huis. De voortuin heeft een facelift gehad, en mijn mini appelboompje staat vol in knop!

It's Spring! How lovely to potter around in and around my little home. I gave the frontyard a bit of a facelift. And in the centre of my garden there's a little apple tree full in blossom!

 

Aangezien ik niet machinaal aan de gang kan, ben ik aan het prutsen met mijn Christmas in July project, voor een gezellige date met mijn quiltgroep, in Juli. Het Thema?.. Aardbeien! Alleen daar wordt je al zonnig en vrolijk van... ^_^ Ga lekker verder prikken! Fijne week! (Al deed blogsy er erug lang over om dit berichtje te plaatsen...)

Because I can't use my sewing machine, I just work on little stitchery's. They will be used for a Christmas in July gift with my quilting bee. The theme?.. Strawberries! Just the word makes me feel sunny and happy...^_^ I hope you have a sunny and happy week too! ( although it took blogsy a looooong time to post this..)

Machientje weg (missing my sewing machine)

Wat een pech! Mijn trouwe machientje is al ruim 3 weken voor onderhoud weg! Ik dacht er goed voor te zorgen, gaf het regelmatig een nieuw naaldje, stofte het liefdevol af en uit. En gaf het af en toe een smeerseltje. Een keer in de zoveel tijd, mag mijn pfaffje terug naar zijn geboortewinkel, voor groot onderhoud. Helaas duurt dat nu wel heel erg lang. Had hem samen met zijn zusje (machientje van Mam) weggebracht.

What a bad luck! My trusty little machine has been away for over three weeks on a maintenance roadtrip!. Only I thought I took good care of him; gave it a new needle regularly, lovingly dusted it off and gave the occasional drup of oil. Once in a while little Pfaff goes home to the shop, for a good check-up. But this tme it takes for-Ever! He went on this trip with his little sister ( Mom's sewingmachine)

Wel zo gezellig, met zijn twee-en op reis. Alleen zuslief kon ik na een week alweer meenemen. Pfaffje had een steekje los los contactje op de printplaat, en dat moest eerst nagekeken worden. Met de belofte hij de week erop weer mee naar huis mocht. Door wat andere afspraken kon ik hem vorige week niet ophalen, had pfaffje zomaar een extra week vakantie. Vandaag speciaal naar de winkel en ondertussen al dromend van de projecten die liggen te wachten op een paar machinale stiksteken. Niet dus! Heb aardig staan te sputteren, dat ik dit echt niet vind kunnen.

Thought it would be fun, together on a maintenance roadtrip. Only little Sis, I could take back home the next week. Pfaff-ie had a loose contact inside, and that had to be checked first. With a promise it would be finished in a week, I went home. The next week, I didn't had the time to pick him up, so today was the day. All ready dreaming of all the projects that need some stitching done. But no way, he still isn't fixed. I got a little upset about this, and the lack of service!

Een auto breng je ook niet voor een hele maand naar de garage... Toch? Hoe doen jullie dat trouwens met je trouwe machine? Brengen jullie die ook voor onderhoud weg, doe je het zelf, of laat je het machientje draaien totdat het erbij neervalt? Ik ga voorlopig maar verder met de projecten die ik met de hand kan doen, en misschien kan ik wat machinale projecten uitbesteden..

You don't take your car to the garage for a whole month, do you? By the way, how do you take care of your little sewingfriend? Do you bring him to the shop for maintenance? Is it a DIY kind of thing? Or are you just sewing away till the machine quits? In the meanwhile, I still have some projects that needs handsewing, and quilting. And maybe, I can lent a machine or ask some one to sew for me...
